 Legacy Jeet Kune Do instructors are highly qualified and directly certified under the Bruce Lee/Dan Inosanto lineage. Our instructors are required to have thousands of hours of training in all facets of Jeet Kune Do, including sparring, drills, technique, application, and attribute development. In addition, they all have significant experience as teacher's assistants and apprentice instructors before being authorized to teach on their own. The Head Instructor of Legacy Jeet Kune Do is Sifu Peter Nguyen. He holds certifications in Jun Fan Gung Fu (Jeet Kune Do) and Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Dan Inosanto, one of only three people certified by Bruce Lee to teach and carry on his art and philosophy. He also is certified in the art of Shoot Wrestling under Sensei Yori Nakamura, the highest-ranking instructor under the founder of the system, Satoru Sayama of Japan. In addition, Sifu Peter Nguyen has significant experience training in Muay Thai, Silat, Savate, Wing Chun, and Mixed Martial Arts. Sifu Peter Nguyen holds a Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of California, Davis. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Cerritos College and has been invited to lecture in both the California State University and University of California systems.
